How many times in a day do you hear the word ‘Busy’? You say hello to someone and ask “How are you?” and the response is- “BUSY!”

What does the word ‘Busy’ mean to you when you hear it? It could be interpreted that the person is so important that they don’t have time to answer you or talk to you! Or are they overwhelmed themselves doing too much? We are human beings, not human doings. We watch people constantly doing, doing, doing that they don’t take time to have a conversation with another human being.

The word ‘busy’ is so overused in today’s language. It has no meaning anymore! Do you agree?

Does ‘Busy’ now imply a blush off or a weak excuse to avoid a conversation? Or do you use the word when you have not called or replied to an email? Receiving an auto-reply to an email is better than no reply. Do you agree?

In today’s fast-paced society, everyone is so ‘busy’, ‘busy’, ‘busy’ then what??? Stop and ask yourself, are you spinning around being Busy and loosing connection with people or relationships?

I would love to hear your responses, so please share.

Are you fully present in the moment when talking to someone? Or are you thinking about your list of things to do?

This weekend is Easter, whether you celebrate or not, when you get together with friends or family, practice being fully present while talking/listening and interacting. Feel the connection when you talk with people. Every weekend is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with those you care about and those who you have just met. You may laugh or walk away with a piece of wisdom that plants a positive seed for your future. Be open to receiving!

Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed or too ‘Busy’ to stop and gain clarity in your direction?
